SATA filter 400 series

The SATA filter 400 series meets highest demands on quality and performance. The modular design allows an exact adaptation to different applications. The combination units SATA filter 444 and 484 are standard in paint booths – also for breathing air treatment.

The SATA filter unit protects against harmful vapors and gases. For fresh air supplied breathing air systems without activated carbon pre-stage and areas with high demands on compressed air quality.

  • The microfiber fine filter with a fineness of 0.01 micron ensures a separation efficiency of 99.998% (100% technically pure air), thus preventing incorrect varnishing and expensive rework
  • The saturation level of the fine filter can be easily read with the double manometer
  • Very high air flow rate: 3,600 NL/min at 6 bar
  • The cyclone separator reliably removes oil and water from the compressed air
  • The automatic condensate drain valve prevents “punctures” into the compressed air network (low maintenance)
  • The large sintered bronze filter with a fineness of 5 microns has a long service life and is easy to clean
  • Robust metal housing, so that the combination fine filter unit with activated carbon is suitable for temperatures up to 60°C without any problems
  • Air inlet: 1/2 inch
  • Pressure can be easily adjusted with the pressure reducer and pressure gauge
Technical data:
  • Air inlet: G 1/2 i inside
  • Max. Inlet operating overpressure: 15.0 bar (225 psi)
  • Max. Outlet working pressure: 145 psi (10.0 bar)
  • Air flow rate at 6 bar/87 psi: 3600 Nl/min (129.6 cfm)
  • Max. Ambient temperature: 60° C max.

product benefits

  • Reliably prevents expensive rework
